Brother And Sister Hurt

A brother and sister suffered moderately serious head injuries when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into an iron fence at the intersection of North Avon road and North parade about 10.12 p.m. yesterday.

Those injured are Miss J. Mines, aged 19, of 72 Riseiaw street, and Mr J. Mines, aged 17, of the same address. At the time of the accident Mr Mines was teaching his sister to ride a motor-cycle. Both were admitted to Christchurch Hospital where their condition last night was fairly satisfactory.
