Minuteman, favourite for the Inter-Dominion championships over the New Zealand mare, Robin Dundee, after his great win in the A. G. Hunter Cup on Saturday night. Minuteman won the £4806 Hunter Cup In 1964 and went on to win the Inter-Dominion in Melbourne that year. Minuteman was 6/4 favourite on Saturday. Starting from 12 yards, he ran a brilliant race to finish three yards ahead of the New South Wales horse. Stormy Prince, with Fiery Land two yards away third.
