CAR LEAVES ROAD

Three Persons Injured Three persons were injured when a car ran off the Gore Bay road, near Cheviot, early last eevning. It is believed there were five persons in the car. Kenneth D. Upston, of No. 1 R.D., Spotswood, whose condition is serious, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital with head, chest and arm injuries and shock. Keith Neville Crossado, of Cheviot, was admitted with head and arm injuries. His injuries are moderately serious. Brian Taylor, of Cheviot, was admitted for observation with head and arm injuries, which are not serious. The three were admitted to hospital about 10.30 p.m. .
