Conference At Wanganui
“The Press’* Special Service WANGANUI. About 50 delegates from as far field as Dargav&lLe and Invercargill, wiill attend the biennial conference of New Zealand racring club secretaries at Wanganui on February 10 and 11. The meeting coincides with the Wanganui Jockey Club’s Queen Anne Cup fixture on February 12. Two women, M'i&s M. F. Sturmfelis (Northern Wairoa Racing Club) and Mrs M. V. Skelton (Waikato Racing Club) are to attend the conference. The delegates will discuss points of racing administration and at least three papers widil be presented.
Flying To Wellington
“The Press’* Special Service INVERCARGILL. Court BeMe and Cassarook, two Southland candidates for the Wellington Cup at Trentham next week, will fly to Wellington from Momona on Tuesday. The Invercargill hack, Soncerai, which is engaged on the later days at Trentham, has also been booked on the flight, together with the Clintontrained Solicitor and the Wingatui gallopers, Palisade, Modern Imp and Dunsun. The 1965 WeKrngton Cup winer, Eiffel Tower, wii’.l leave at the week-end with his stablemates, Ettrick and Golden Disc, for Christchurch, on the first stage o-f their trip north. They wilil cross to WeV/ngton by boat early next week.
