Gramel In Top Form

(N.Z. Press Association) MELBOURNE. The Australian trotting champion, Gramel, came through her final trial for the Inter - Dominion Trotting Championships with a flying mile in 2min 2 2-ssec at the Day’s Road track yesterday. Gramel, trotting brilliantly throughout, came home the last half-mile in 61sec. Gramel will be flown to Sydney next Wednesday but her future racing career as far as Australia is concerned is in doubt. Mr F. Jones, whose wife races Gramel, said after the trial that after winning 48 races in Australia Gramel was being handicapped out of races.
