Took Diner’s Meal

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. A man who went into a Wellington cafe and ate another man’s food was fined £l5 by Mr J. A. Wills, S.M., today. Charged with disorderly behaviour, Buddy King, aged 24, a factory hand, pleaded guilty. Sergeant P. H. O’Donnell told the Court that King had gone into the cafe at 6.15 p.m. yesterday. He sat opposite the complainant and, after a while took his meal and ate it himself .

When the complainant asked for his food, King refused to return it.
