Motz And Bartlett

Canterbury’s outstanding fast bowlers this season, G. A. Bartlett and R. C. Motz, will both be out of senior cricket today ft>r personal reasons. Their absence will seriously weaken two sides which are competing for one of the top places in the senior grade before the division, and the play-oq for the championship by the four leading teams. Riccarton, without Motz, is playing Old Boys, which will be without W. A. Hadlee—but which will have in the team three of his sons. West Christchurch-University, which loses Bartlett meets Old Collegians.
