Top Players Extended (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI. In the New Zealand croquet championships at Wanganui yesterday, A. G. F. Ross (Hastings) and Mrs G. Collins (Lower Hutt), two of the leading players, were fully extended to keep both their lives in he championship doubles. Results:

Women's Championship First Life.—First round: Mrs B. A. Jarden (Lower Hutt) beat Mrs T. Mellor (Wanganui), 26-6. First Life.—Second round: Mrs B. Reynolds (Masterton) beat Mrs H. Dempsey (Walmate), 26-24: Mrs H. B. Lockett (Wanganui) beat Mrs R. G. Moffitt (Auckland), 26-18; Mrs .1. Ritchie (Hastings) beat Mrs C. Mills (New Plymouth), 26 S: Mrs C. T.
