Post For Former Citv Doctor

A former Christchurch general practitioner, Dr. H. A. Brant, has been appointed senior lecturer in obstetrics and gynaecology and first assistant to Professor W. Nixon at University College Hospital, London. Dr. Brant went to Britain in May, 1962, and passed the examination for membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists He then took a basic science course in Edinburgh and passed the primary and final fellowship examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons.

In April, 1963, Dr. Brant became registrar and tutor at Hammersmith Hospital, the post-graduate medical school in London.

Dr. Brant passed the examination for membership of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, in 1964. For the last 15 months he has been senior registrar and tutor at Hammersmith Hospital.
