Toll Circuit Cut
fN.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 13. The North Island toll circuit was cut this afternoon after an excavating machine damaged the cable at Porirua. Subscribers were unable to make calls from 1 p.m. till 2.50 p.m. when the service was restored, but it was still subject to interruptions. The line will be tested early tomorrow and normal service will be resumed then.
