MOBILE CARAVANS
Self-propelled caravans based on Commer, Leyland, Ford and Morris chassis are being made by an Auckland company. The company also hires a fleet of 22 selfpropelled vans. Each van sleeps four persons, and comes equipped with a sink, stove, and refrig-
erator. There are also many drawers and cupboards. The price of a complete caravan ranges from £1725 to £1925. The hire charge for a 30-day 3000-mile tour is £277, and the smallest van costs from £l2 10s a week and Is a mile.
