INQUEST ON WARDER
Tried To Slop Escapers
(N.Z. Press Assn. — Copyrtpho MELBOURNE, Jan. 12.
The inquest on the Pentridge Prison warder. George Hodson, will be held at the Coroner’s Court on February 3, the Chief Secretary, Mr Rylah, said today. Hodson, aged 41, was shot dead outside the gaol on December 19 while attempting to prevent the escape of Ronald Ryan and Peter Walker.
