16 Horses Qualify

Sixteen horses qualified to race at totalisator meetings when they bettered 3.29 for a mile and a half in qualifying trials held by the Canterbury Owners’ and Breeders’ Association at Ashburton yesterday. The fastest time was recorded by Cheribon, winner of the second heat. This three-year-old Braham filly, which J. 'A. Carmichael prepares at Templeton for Messrs L. G. Skurr and T. A.
