Everything points to another keen tussle between Morris Francis and General Gilbert in the Arthur Clouston Handicap at Reefton tomorrow.

Their third meeting in a week should be the feattire of the racing on the second day of the Reefton Jockey Club’s meeting. General Gilbert was given a narrow decision over the Washdyke gelding at Kumara last Saturday. He emerged on top again in the main race at Reefton on Wednesday, but lost first place after a protest by Mr M. F. Billington, Morris Francis’s part-owner and trainer. The Arthur Clouston Handi-: cap is the first leg of the; Reefton T.A.B. double. So Lovely, a first-day winner, is selected to win the second leg, the Rahu Hack Handicap.
