Harbour Snag Located

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 13. Naval divers today found a length of heavy chain and several large clumps of wire netting on the harbour floor where the Tasmania Star fouled her mooring two days ago. They returned in the afternoon with grapnel equipment, but were unable to raise the snag before the tide turned. The spot was marked with a buoy and the divers will attempt to raise the chain and netting tomorrow. Australian Trip.— Desmond Anderson, aged 19, of the West Taieri Young Farmers’ Club, has won an A.N.Z. Bank-sponsored three-months trip to Australia.—(PA..)
