Boy Drowned In River

(N.Z. Press Association) OPOTIKI, Jan. 13. An orphan living at Omaio, near Opotiki, was drowned in the Motu river yesterday afternoon. He was: John Weteri, aged 16. He was crossing the river on a horse with two younger children when they all fell off. The other children got ashore.
