EYES FIXED ON THAT LAST VITAL BOWL, tense spectators at the New Zealand bowls championships present an interesting study in concentration. They are watching the last bowl sent down by A. L. Rudduck, of Meadowbank. Oamaru, who was attempting to take out the shot bowl, in the pairs final. If he had succeeded, this would have given him three points and the match. He failed.
