The third highest price for a Romney ram at auction in New Zealand 5000gns. was paid at the Wairarapa slud sheepbreed ers’ annual fair at Masterton today. The ram. sold on account of (he Aries Stud. Masterton. wa* bought by J G. Alexander, of Wanganui, and R. W. Matthews, of Featherston, in partnership. Twelve rams from the Aries Stud averaged 931gns.
