Rings Stolen From House
Two rings valued at £4O were stolen late yesterday morning from a house in Palmers road. In forcing entry the burglar caused damage estimated at £5.
A house in Browning street was entered on Tuesday night and £3 was stolen.
The Western Timber Company Ltd.’s premises in Byron street were entered early yesterday, but nothing is reported to have been stolen.
On Tuesday evening a house in Saxon street was entered, but nothing was taken. The burglar who broke into K. Dowson and Sons’ footwear shop at 4458 Ferry road between last Sunday and Tuesday night exchanged the shoes he was wearing for another pair and then left
