N.Z. Pilot To Lead Team i (Special Crspdt. N.Z.PA.) LONDON, Jan. 11. A New Zealand-born pilot, j Flight Lieutenant Raynham • Hanna, aged 37, formerly of I Auckland, will lead the top aerobatic team of the Royal Air Force this year. The team, called the “Red Arrows” and drawn from the Royal Air Force Central Flying School at Little Rissington, Gloucester, will fly seven Gnat jet-engined advanced trainers and will appear in Britain and overseas. This is the second year running that the team has been the premier aerobatics : group. Last year Flight Lieutenant Hanna flew at number three position. Born in Auckland, he was educated at Auckland Grammar School. He joined the Royal Air Force in 1949. He was awarded the A.F.C. in the 1961 New Year honours. Flight Lieutenant Hanna is married with two children.
