Old Masters Stolen
(N Z.P A .-Reuter —Copyright) BESANCON (France), January 12. Thieves have stolen 26 drawings by old masters valued at 10 million francs, the curator of the Besancon Fine Arts Museum said yesterday. The thieves, believed to be a gang of specialists, took drawings by Veronese, Tiepolo, Fragonard and other masters from the museum and left few traces, the police said. It is thought that the thieves may have already escaped to Switzerland.
