Centenarian’s Gift
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 12.
Latest donations to funds for the Fiji Crippled Children Society included a money order for £3 sent by a pensioner who apologised for being unable to make a larger donation. The gift came from a former Fiji police corporal, Niranjan Singh, of Tavua, who is 105. He wrote: “Since I am well enough at this stage I felt I would like to send lots of good wishes to your charitable society.”
