With bookmakers listing England as 11-2 second favourites to win the World Soccer Cup, the rush for tickets has started in earnest Before last week’s draw in London for the 16 qualifying nations, more than £500,000 tickets had been sold. Now the figure is leaping upwards. In Liverpool where three games of Brazil, the holder of the trophy, will be played, all 6000 grandstand tickets have been sold out, and application has been made to London for a further 5000.
