Cassius Clay said yesterday that his proposed fight with Ernie Terrell “should clear up any confusion about who deserves to be called heavy-weight champion of the world.’’ He would gain nothing by fighting Brian London, the former British champion.
"There should be a law against me fighting him. He is short, fat, old and slow.”
