BUTTER TALKS

Chairman May Go (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 10. Three representatives of the Dairy Board are expected to go to London soon for talks on the forthcoming butter quota negotiations with the United Kingdom. Arrangements have not been completed, but it is believed the chairman. Sir Andrew Linton, the general manager, Mr A. H. Ward, and a board member will take part in discussions with Britain. A Dairy Board spokesman said today that no date had been set for the talks, but they might be held early in February. In that case the three representatives would leave for London after the Dairy Board meeting on January 26 and 27 in Wellington. The discussions may be the last before the negotiations begin—depending on whether agreement can be reached on how to proceed.
