All Worlds
Twelve denominations and 24 nations were represented at the Fourth Ecumenical Youth Conference in Hamilton. The largest overseas delegations were from Samoa (28), Australia (21), and the Solomon Islands (7). There were also representatives from Korea, Singapore, the Phillippines, Malaysia, Formosa, India, Fiji, America, Indonesia, Ceylon, Germany, Vietnam, New Hebrides. Hong Kong, Gilbert Islands, Tonga, Greece and Cook Islands. The largest denominational groups were Presbyterian (615), Methodist (431), Anglican (277), and Church of Christ (66). There were 58 Baptists, 35 members of the Congregational Church, 15 Roman Catholics (observers), 11 Salvation Army, nine from the Society of Friends, two Bretheren, two Greek Orthodox, and one Batak.
