FLYWAY IN FORM FOR VINCENT LEG

'‘The Press” Special Service ALEXANDRA. Flyway in the Ophir Hack Handicap and Lady Topaz in the Valley Hack Handicap will be a well-supported doubles combination at Omakau today when the Vincent Jockey Club will conclude its two-day meeting.

Flyway was runnerup in the corresponding event on the first j day when he was han- I dicapped by a wide ' barrier draw. Sailor’s Flight, an unlucky fifth, and Ronrico, which beat all but Khairuzan, appear to be the best of the others in the first leg. Lady Topaz, a decisive winner over seven furlongs on ! Saturday, should have no i difficulty in mastering the exjtra two furlongs, in the Vai- ! ley Hack Handicap, in which she is top weight with 8-7. Pease and Red Moss, two! other first-day winners, and| the beaten favourite Soncerai.j may be the ones to extend; Lady Topaz. Two newcomers to the!
