Jolly had tried to burn the head, but although the kitty went into the ditch it stayed alive and Skoglund gained three points to take him to a 17-12 lead. Jolly (left) holds the measure to a bowl while the umpire has the other end against the kitty. Watching on right is Skoglund. Skoglund won. 21-12.
