Shelepin In Peking (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) PEKING, January 7. A top-level Soviet delegation, led by Mr Alexander Shelepin, left Peking by air today for Hanoi after a 45minute stop-over on. its way from Moscow. The Soviet team, which is visiting Hanoi at the North Vietnam Government’s invitation, was given a polite but frigid reception by the Chinese Vice-Premier and Finance Minister (Mr Li Hsien-Nien), who lunched with Mr Shelepin in the airport building and saw him off. No flags, protocol, or airport speeches were arranged for the Soviet mission’s brief stop.

On the 300-yard walk from the plane to the airport building and back, Mr Li and Mr Shelepin limited themselves to discussing the weather in Moscow and Peking.
