More Britons Going Abroad

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, January 7. In spite of the appeal by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Callaghan, for Britons to stay at home, rather than go abroad for their holidays this year, people are booking earlier than ever for holidays. Some travel agents report that bookings so far this year are double those for previous years.

Spain and Italy are again the favourite holiday areas.
