Duke To Visit U.S., Canada
(N .Z.P. A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON, January 7. The Duke of Edinburgh, a gold card life member of Variety Clubs International, is to visit the United States and Canada in March. The Variety Club of Britain said the Duke had accepted the tour at the invitation of the international chief barker (Mr James Carreras), the only Englishman to have held the post. The Duke will arrive in New York on March 17, when he will be joined by his uncle, Earl Mountbatten of Burma.
