JAMBOREE IN GREECE
“Highlight” Of Scouting Year The trip by two boy scouts from the Selwyn district to Greece for the World Jamboree in August was the highlight of the year, said the chairman, Mr O. S. Fairbrass at the annual meeting of the. Selwyn District Boy Scouts’ Association. There had been a general increase in scout numbers, and the Tawera group was functioning again. Officers elected were: district patron, Mr A. S. Rutherford; chairman, Mr O. S. Fairbrass; secretary, Mrs L. Reward; treasurer, Mr J. Thompson; auditor, Mr A. Mackay; trustees, Messrs O. R. Gibson and J. Thompson.
