DECISION ON STAMP

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 16. A decision on the design of a stamp to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the first Anzac landing at Gallipoli is expected to be made by the Postmaster - General (Mr Scott) tomorrow. Three designs, including the original one showing a panorama of Anzac Cove with a red poppy in the top right-hand corner, was submitted to the Returned Services’ Association annual conference today. Mr Scott said tonight he hoped to receive an indication of the association’s choice tomorrow.
