“MAN OF YEAR” A WOMAN
(Canadian Award Announced i For the fourth time since 1938. the “Mm of the Year” in Hamilton, Ontario, is a woman. This year Mrs H. A Ricker was presented with the distinguished citizenship award. Her name will join 25 others on a silver roll of honour, which is permanent!: displayed in the city. The award was made to Mn Ricker because she had per formed deeds “for the great est good for the greatest num;ber of people”—deeds which were largely the result of : personal effort over and above the line of dujy.
