LONDON ART PURCHASES
Sir Charles Wheeler, president of the Royal Academy, and Mr Rex Nan Kivell, a former New Zealander who conducts an art gallery in London, have agreed to act as a committee to recommend and/or purchase works of art for the Robert McDougall Art Gallery. Mr T. Campbell, the public relations officer at New Zealand House, will convene the committee and will arrange for the formal purchasing and shipping.
