Thanks For Gift To Congo
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 19. Bishop Malaula, of Leopoldville. has sent a message of thanks to New Zealand for the gift of £lOOO towards Congo relief work. The money was sent three weeks ago by the Sisters of St. Peter Claver, in Wellington, who collected the donations from the public. Sister M. Baptiste said today that donations totalling another £lOOO had also been received. These would be sent as soon as a bank permit was obtained.
