PORTERS WANTED AT HAREWOOD

Recommendation Of Progress League

The Canterbury Progress League will write to the airport manager suggesting that two porters to assist with luggage be employed at Christchurch Airport. At a meeting of the league on Wednesday evening Mr H. E. Radley said there were porters at Australian airports. He said it was sometimes difficult to handle luggage. "We could have two redcapped fellows there and give them a retainer,** said Mr Radley. "You could give them a tip if you felt like it."
