Fire Engineers’ Examinations
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 18. The New Zealand branch of the Institution of Fire Engineers has received information from England advising that 10 candidates were successful in the 1961 institution examination on February 18. The two successful candidates in the associate section were: R. A. Neary (Auckland) and S. W. Thomas (Porirua). The other eight, successful In the graduate section, were: B. S. Armstrong, distinction (Taupo), A. P. Blackmore (Wellington), E. J. Carroll (Eastbourne), S. K. Christen, sen (Taupo), M. S. Goodwin (Hamilton), K. J. Hayes (Cromwell), B. A. Nesbit (Rotorua), and D. Reid (R.N.Z.A.F., Lauthala Bay, Fiji).
