Cream butter eng sugur until soft, beat in one whole egg and one yolk Ireserv<ng I egg white tor meringue!. Fold in the sifted PIXIE Cakeflour, baking pow der and salt. Lastly add , the weter. Spread mixture in a lined 8 inch sandwich tin and bake in a moderate oven 375 deg.F. for 20 minutes. Leave to cool siightty then spread with Lemon Spread. Pile meringue Imade with beaten egg white and 2 tablespoons castor sugar! on top, put back in oven until meringue is set and slightly browned.
