HELSINKI GAMES

N.Z. Athletes To Attend

(W.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 16. M. G. Halberg. P. G. Snell, and A. B. Magee, the three Olympic Games medallists, have accepted an invitation to compete at the Helsinki second world games and other meetings in Finland in July. Mr A. L. Lydiard, their coach, has, however, decided not to accompany them. Another manager will be chosen and also a fourth member of the party. Mr Lydiard said today that all the runners were in very good condition, particularly Snell, who had completely recovered from a leg injury suffered in December. Snell was now achieving longdistance conditioning training without difficulty.
