A. McNabb (TechnicalShirley) and D. C. Leary (University), with 48 points each head the individual scoring in the senior Rugby competition. McNabb has kicked 14 penalty goals and three conversions; Leary has kicked six penalty goals and 15 conversions. W. F. McCormick (Linwood) has 35 points and S. K. Henderson (Old Boys) has 33. Two Christchurch backs. B. A. Watt and C. Mullaney, have scored the most tries with six each. D. Davison and R. D. Hoskin, both of University, have scored five each.
University is well ahead in the number of tries scored. University has 33, 12 ahead of Christchurch in second place. Marist has scored 18. Tries scored by other teams are: Linwood 11, Old Boys 10.
