A.T.C. Model Aero Competition
fN.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 15. The Central, area won the annual inter-district Air Training Corps model aeroplane competition flown at Whenuapai at the week-end. Cadet Sergeant D. Bitossi, of the No. 1 (Wellington) Squadron, the captain of the winning team, was presented with the De Havilland trophy by the assistant general manager of the De Havilland Company (Mr R. W. Jameson) at the end of the two-day competition. Points were: Central area. 483.43; Northern, 466.50; Southern, 401.48.
