Sir, —It is a goodish while—certainly more than a “wee while”—since we heard that partridges had been released somewhere in the wide territory covered by “The Press.” It would be gratifying to learn from one of your rural readers that these delectable little game birds are not only surviving but ’ thriving.— Yours, etc., M.T.
