Bowls Dallington Club
The annual presentation of trophies of the Dallington Bowling Club was marked by a social. Mrs M. C. Pirrie, president of the women’s section. congratulated the women s four on winning the champion-ol-champion fours title ano presented each player with a special trophy. Prizes were presented by Mr J. Mathison, M.P., patron ol the club. The Christchurch Bowling Centre was represented by the president (Mr M. A. Le Cren). Winners of trophies were:— Champion singles. A. M. Dutliie; champion pairs. S. A. Joyce. K. Pirrie (s); champion fours, D. Martin, G. A. Rowland, A. R. Wright, L. 1. R Newton <s>; intermediate singles. G. A. Rowland: champion colt, G. A, Rowland; first-year-colt. I. J. McAllister; Mathison Cup. D. Martin, A. P Norman. R. E. Wright. H. V. Sharp Is): handicap pairs, F. A. Tucker, F. E. Reaby (s); married couples, Mr and Mrs W Campbell; mid-week section, handicap singles. A. W. Kitchingham; handicap pairs, A. V. Lane. A. W. Kitchingham (s).
