Rifle Shooting CHRISTCHURCH TOURNEY
Good Scores In All Grades
In the first week of the Christchurch Miniature Rifle Association’s winter tournament, good scores were returned in all grades on the new Craig target. Three out of the four members of the R. E. Taylor family returned possibles. University shot well in master grade to beat R.S.A. by one point. Possibles were shot by the following:— Master Grade.—R. E. Ta»ylor, I. Horwell. M. Quartly, 100.10; I. R. Ballinger. P. Brown, 100.9; D. Froude 100.8, C. Simonsen, V. Curtis Mrs D. McGill, G Baiiey, 100.7: N. Scadden 100.6. C. Scott 100.5. A Grade—R. Blanchard, R. J. Taylor. 100.8; Miss L. Taylor, Mrs R. Taylor, Mrs M. Issitt. Mrs Runciman. G. Wicks. P. Albertson, 100.7; G. Glasson 100.5. Team results:— Master Grade.—East 785, Cash, mere 790. Sydenham 785.
