Wenona Girl For Stradbroke Test
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. May 15. The Sydney filly, Wenona Girl, will have her Stradbroke test in the six-furlong! Civic Handicap, at Rosehill,! on Saturday week. With the favourite Fine and ’ Dandy, and the well-backed New Zealander Fountainhead also likely to run. the Rosehill race could be a “full-! dress” rehearsal for the Stradbroke. Wenona Girl has not raced since the Rosehill Quality Handicap, won by Savage, at Rosehill, on April 15.
