U.S. BUYERS FOR BEEF
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 15.
American meat operators began buying New Zealand beef again at the week-end to break the 10-day ban which came after the impounding of what American sources described as contaminated meat. A spokesman for a local exporting company said today that the return of American buyers was an indication of new confidence in New Zealand meat.
