The United States has provided 75.000 m dollars in foreign aid grants and loans to 60 nations during the last 15 years, an independent research group reported today Of this 7000 m dollar? has been repaid. A report by the senior economist for the Brookings institution. Mr E. Asher, estimated that Western Europe received 60 per cent, of the loans and grants. Mr Asher said that more than 22.000 m dollars went to Asian countries while Latin America received less than 4 per cent, of the U.S. Government aid programmes. He said much of the funds have been spent for U.S goods and services.
