Man Unlawfully Aboard Ship
Garry Donald Mclntyre aged 18. of Grey Lynn. Auckland, pleaded guilty to a charge of being found unlawfully aboard the liner: Dominion Monarch when he; sopeared in the Magistrate’s' Court at Lyttelton yesterday j Sergeant J O’Regan said’ that Mclntyre had gone; aboard to visit a friend wheni .the ship was in Auckland and had fallen asleen after ‘ consuming some beer. He had intended to report himself to the master of the vessel, but an officer found him first. A first offender. Mclntyre was convicted and fined £1 by Messrs R R Duff and A P. B Large. Justices of the Peace, and advised to be clear of Lyttelton by nightfall by returning to the North Island.
