MINOR FIRES
Three units from the Central fire station attended a small fire at the Black Tulip coffee lounge, at 145 High street, at 11.53 p.m. on Saturday. Very slight damage was done to a wall. The fire was caused by heat from an electric toaster. An oven fire at 188 Clarence road, a property occupied by Mr V. Reader, at 4.16 p.m. yesterday was attended by one unit from the Sockburn station. No damage was done.
